How much of each did you take? Why on earth did you combine them?

These drugs are especially dangerous when taken at the same time. Both Xanax and Ambien slow down the central nervous system. When you use them together your central nervous system can slow down so much that your heart stops beating and your lungs stop breathing.
  • I took it at midnite. That"s why I am still groggy.
  • Oh wow...I took oxycontin...celebrex and cipralex all together and felt a bit woosy today....are these also similar to above?

You can check for yourself on websites such as drugs.com that have a drug interaction checker.
  • I always run my meds & suppliments through a medication interaction tool. I know doctors & pharmacists are supposed to check but sometimes things slip through. I've been put on questionable combinations in the past. It's always best to be safe than sorry.
    Osteoarthritis & DDD.
  • Drugs.com is a good site to use before taking any medication. Doctors and Pharmacists can remember only so much so it's good to verify meds before taking them. Just an FYI - Ambein and Xanex combined are in the "Moderate" category for danger taking together.

your local pharmacist can be your best resource.
I know most of the major pharmacy companies, when they give out prescriptions, they provide details on the medications, the dos/donts/ etc
Doing the wrong combo could be your last one
