Hi guys,
I am 24 years old and I herniated a disc in my lower spine November last year. I instantly got nerve pain radiating down my left leg and I tried so many pain killers, chiro, physio, ot, epidural injections and nothing seemed to help. My doctor decided my last option was surgery and I am 2 weeks out of surgery and I feel the best I have felt in a long time. Although I am currently getting a pinching feeling under my right shoulder and some slight muscular pain in my back I am still fully capable of all the things I did pre injury. I have started swimming every second day at the local pool for exercise/therapy but I just want to hear how others were progressing at the 2 week mark and what exercise/therapy you guys did and also when you returned to your normal duties such as driving and work. Also any warning signs you feel i should look out for and anything you think the doctors wouldn't have already told me. I appreciate any information or feedback you can share :)
