Hi, I'm mike from Iowa.
I've had back issue for over a year now. Degenerative disc disease, bone spurs, bulging L5-S1 and siatica. Leg pain, numbness in my Leg and toes, electric feeling shocks in my toes, right leg feels heavy and I have trouble walking. I've have numerous cortisone injections, radio frequency ablation, and nothing has given more than a few days relief. I've done land and water PT, which I did until I could no longer stand the pain. The pain has gotten so bad that my dr has put me on short term disability. I cannot stand sit or lay for more than 30 minutes at a time. My MRI shows no nerve impingement so a neurologist won't t see me. Hoping to get into an orthopedic surgeon. My wife drags me to the ER and I'm beginning to feel like they think I am a drug seeker. The Drs there tell me that my MRI shows nothing that would cause the pain I am in so they cant help me. They are to the point where they don't even try to manage my pain. So I am left wondering, is this how the rest of my life is going to be? Its seems like there is no relief available and I am at the end of my rope. I am open to any suggestions. A chiropractor is out of the question, even the thought of someone manipulating my back scares me. So anyone please help!
