Hi, I had Kyphoscoliosis Reconstruction Thuracic 10-s1 w/Osteotomy,Laminectomy Lumbar 2-3-4-5-s1; Translumbar foramen Interbody Fusion Lumbar 4-5-s1: Iliac bolts; Laminectomy; Allograft and autograft. Whew! Any how that was 18 months ago.
This week I bent over and POP! Thought I ripped something within.... after xrays it was discovered that my left rod cracked (then broke) near the bottom. How does this happen after so long? Now I'm back to wearing my brace and bone stimulator
ALL THE TIME. I can only be without for bathing and sleep! Anyone else have this happen so long after surgery? And will I have to go back in for more???
