Hello everyone I'm rlobo2. I have been watching and reading posts for several months now and am impressed with the compassionate replies. I'm a 59 yro male with lower back issues and some insurance woes. My back pain became unbearable in late Feb 2014 and since have had 2 months of PT, 2 facet injections and 1 lumbar injection, PT again and was hoping for some surgery before I ran into insurance issues. 3 different Dr's-2 neurosurgeons and 1 orthopedic surgeon have recommended surgery. Trying to figure out how to file an appeal with my insurance because the surgery was deemed not medically necessary. I'm currently taking Hydrocodone 5-325 every 6 hours, Advil 800 mg every 4 hours and Gabapentin and Baclofen every 8 hours. I will be posting more in a little while.
