AILF recovery/ how long until I can....

I'm having an AILF L4-L5 fusion, with disc decomp. on Monday. I'm 25 years old so this who thing is a bit surreal to me. I have a 15 month old daughter. I was wondering, from a patient perspective, how long is it going to be before I can lift her again. She's about 25 lbs and I'm the wife of a truck driver. So I'll have help for the first few weeks but I want to know realistically, how long I'm looking at.

Also, any recovery advice you have would be greatly beneficial. The only "surgery" I've ever had was tubes being put in my ears as kid.

Thanks in advance!
