My name is Tanya i am 38 years old and i had scoliosis surgery 25 years ago. I was at 70+ degrees in my curve. It was one year from the time i was diagnosed to the time I needed surgery. the pain has gotten worse over the years, but like many I think it has always been there but i just learned to deal with it. I have taken anti-inflammortories muscle relaxers and pain killers. Only to just mask the pain
after multiple xrays and cts and the loss of muscle mass in my lower back/hip area. my family dr referred me to an orthopedic surgeon. he recommended to take out the hardware, which i agreed too. on november 11,2014.
