Chronic lower back pain 4 months without diagnosis. Invisible pain?

Hi all,

I have been having constant lower back pain for over 4 months now, I have had blood test, X-ray, CT scan and MRI scans all coming back with fairly normal results. A bit of minimal disc bulges from L1/2 to L3/4 and also mild facet joints in same regions that came back from MRI, doctors says that it shouldn't be causing me this pain. I was very upset when the MRI came back negative all of the constant pain has made me very upset all the time and have been doing pretty much nothing but going to appointments because of the pain.

I have had physiotherapy for over 3 months with only slight relief for up to an hr max. The physiotherapy was the most painful thing to go through when they would press down on points on my back it was unbearable at most times. My lower back has massive purple bruising all over and it gets very dark purple towards the bone that has been there for over a month now. The doctors and physio had no answer for this either.

The pain so unbearable i can only sit for about 10 minutes without having to get up and move around and also when standing still i have to sit after about 5-10 minutes because the pain is to much. The only medication that helps with the pain is endone at the moment but even that is starting to wear thin and only last a couple of hours of relief. I have just been giving valium to help me sleep and the past 2 nights i was finally able to sleep for a good 8-9hrs, that was unthinkable before the valium. I also use a hot water bottle and heat pack always when sitting so i am able to sit for longer periods.

I can upload all my reports for ct, mri etc if needed. I really want to find out what the problem is, this is ruining my life and has caused my depression to be so severe and also my anxiety is wearing me down to much. I have starting breaking out crying for no reason because the pain is just to much to handle because it is 24/7 it does not stop its very upsetting.

Also i have lost my appetite lately and have been waking up very stiff all over my body.

With no diagnosis yet from all these tests and seeing nemours specialist and getting no results i don't know what to do anymore..

Duplicate/similar thread posting is not permitted in multiple forums. Please follow the link below to your original thread. It is confusing for other members to find multiple threads with similar discussions by one member in multiple forums. They don't know which one to respond to. For continuity's sake, please keep posts to one thread related to a specfic topic....
