Hi, new here, I had an epidermal to L5/S1 a week ago, how long before any relief if any. Surgeon said a fusion would be the most likely option. I have pain in lower back, shooting pain, numbness of left leg and week ness to left side. I fell down this past January and the pain and numbness have just progressed. Went to see my primary Dr. And he did X-Ray,which showed nothing. I was referred to an orthopedic specialist whom I seen and he wanted to do an MRI, but i can't due to a spinal stimulator implant. The Orthopedic Dr. Referred me for an EMG,which I did and found Radicular Neuropathy on my left leg and foot. Then the Dr. Sent me for a CT-Mylogram which showed severe stenosis, degenerative disk, fractures and pinched nerve at L5/S1. I've had physical therapy, which didn't seem to help. I take Tylenol 3, ibuprofen 800, flexaril 10.
