Ruptured disc

Hello. I had a cervical MRI at the end of August. Report states that I have mild spinal stenosis , and 5mm left lateral extrusion of the c5-c6 disc, mild to moderate central canal stenosis with flattening of the anterior aspect of the cervical cord on the left and impingement on the traversing left c7 nerve root, minor annular bulge of c4-c5 disc and small central protrusion of c3-c4 disc. I went to Nuero and did round of prednisone, then Aleve and now going to therapy. The Nuero says I will probably not need surgery but the pain has come back full force. I was wondering if anyone is experiencing this. I have pain going down my arm into my arm and it hurts to turn my neck. Thanks!
