Okay so I just joined this forum because I really need advice.
I injured my back yesterday in a hockey game. I was battling with a girl along the boards and she cross checked me in the middle of my back. I fell on the ice and I felt immediate pain. I continued on in the game but I couldn't stand up straight because of the pain.
The pain was shooting down my legs and all I could do was sit after the game. I could describe exactly where the pain was and it was right in the middle of my back. When she hit me it I had no idea what happened until my teammates told me. I didn't tell anybody I was hurting....I know I am an idiot for doing this. I tried my best and played two more games today. During the game I still couldn't stand up straight. Rather then the pain shooting down my legs, I had weakness in my legs and arms. The pain is still bad, it hurts my back to take a deep breath or move really in any way.
I am just wondering if it something that will just go away on its own if I rest and ice it or should I see a doctor and if so immediately or wait to see if the pain goes away.
