Hi all im new to all this and not very good at pc stuff so please be patient ,this is from my mri refferal letter to neuro surgeon ,I have been treated for sciatica for 6 years and im never off my work normally take co codamol 30/500 and get on with it but I have never been in so much pain as I am now ive tried all sort of pain relief that has nearly cost me a divorce my mood changed so much but im getting thereive not seen neurosurgeon yet so here is what is on my
refferal letter to him and report. I have a large postulateral disc prolapse at l5s1 which compresses and narrows the thecal sac with compression of the left l5 nerve roots , I've been off work now 13 weeks from 17/8/14 and I have the pain under control most of the time with 20mg amitriptylene morning omprezole and 3x 400mg ibrufen 8 30/500 co codamol 3xversatis patches and 50mg amitriptylene at night thats all in a day :( looking for advice as I have been told not to do much cant goto work as im a landscape gardener the nhs physio wont touch me as thats the way nhs works said chiro and other physio will take the money no problem and possibly do more damage and the root cause will still be there I get about house ok but if I go to shops or for walks I use crutches as I feel my left leg will go away from me help please do you think this could heal itself ??
