chronic pain

Im 42 with chronic lower back pain. The pain has now gone into my right hip n down my leg. I also get pain in my right arm. Ive had an mri of my lower back which showed i have 2 bulging discs which the dr says is nothing. An mri of my right hip which showed nothing. Yet i still have pain. It hurts to sit and to drive. I went to a pain management dr n got a shot in my butt on wed 11/25/14 and still have pain. Ive been out of work for 2 months and as of tomorrow able to go back to work. I dnt know how im going to work w the pain. Does anyone who is going thrgh this have any advice.

It would be very helpful if you could provide us with more details. Here are some questions that you
should answer:

  • - When did this first start?
    - Was it the result of an accident or trauma?
    - What doctors have you seen?
    - What Conservative treatments have you had? Which ones?
    - What diagnostic tests have you had? And their results
    - What medications are you currently using?
    - Has surgery been discussed as an option?
    - What is your doctor’s action plan for treating you?

Providing answers to questions like this will give the member community here a better understanding
of your situation and make it easier to respond.
