In1998 I had a Spinal Laminectomy with inter body fusion. It was very successful. Around 2 years later one of the screws broke in half. There was little pain and my doctor said the bone was strong enough to hold so just leave the broken screw as is. About 3 years ago I started to experience a sharp stabbing pain when I would get out of my car. It was short and quick most of the time. I re evaluated the way I was sitting and that seemed to help, most of the time. Yesterday, out of the blue I started getting old familiar sciatic pain. It got worse as the day went on and today it's excruciating every time I lean or move my right leg. Has anyone ever had sciatic issues caused by broken hardware that was still in their back ? Any info would be greatly appreciated. dmdenio
