I had mri via gp and have not been referred to any specialists and im desperate for help and advice. Now housebound and spending most myvtime in bed laying on back as issues with hips which just hurts more so i pop more pills. Also had bad side effects from lyrica nerve pills so trying to get off to change but makes pain unbearable. At witts end. Asked doc for referral and just get told hecdoesnt know anyone. • Thanks Liz.am at my witts end. I have asked around and tried to research for someone to no joy and GP says he has no idea who to send me to. I see there are lists however with consultants putting themselves on there they make me nervous. Any tips for finding someone i can be confident in?

I am surprised that your GP hasn't any suggestions for you, throwing it back in your court isn't very helpful. Have you looked on the websites of your local hospitals?
