Lower back pain and DDD

Hi I am a 31 year old male and I work for the fire department. When I was 18 I was told that I have degenerative disc disease in my lower back. I have had no problems for years other then maybe a minor week long flair up of pain for that would last for about a week and this happened about every 6-12 months. I am a very active person I play a lot of golf hunt, workout, eat healthy. This Nov. about 5 weeks ago I was doing my normal time spending time in a tree-stand bow hunting. The position you sit in a tree stand isn't the best but I haven't had problems before. My back pain started to flair up and it was very bad almost locked up when I woke up one morning. I was prescribed 10 days worth of prednisone 20 mg per day. This seemed to help and at the end I felt better. The pain is still there though more so when I wake up in the mornings. I have never been to a chiropractor and I am thinking about going to one now. I have been told my back could be slightly out of a line and they could fix that very easily. Any input on this or advice?? Thanks for listening

Duplicate post please follow link.....
I have locked this duplicate post, the reason for this is having multiple threads on the same subject can reduce the number of responses, plus it creates confusion for the rest of the member community. Members do not know which thread to respond to. Then in the end you may have a number of different responses in different threads. Any thread continuity is then lost.
