Hi, I am new here. My name is Dana. I am 51 & have had two back surgeries. The first in 2012, sept. I had a laminetomny & fusion. Did not help with pain. In April 2013, I had a discetomy on L3 & L 4. L5 was a toss up & he decided not to bother it. I had a fusion. I have never been without pain. My dr. Would not let me return to work ever. He is wonderful, my back is just really crappy. He said my spine was just wobbling around. I have DDD, arthritis, spondylitis, & neuropathy. My legs get so heavy, I have trouble walking. I have spots of severe pain in both legs and hips. My feet feel like someone has beaten them with a rod! I am on regular pain meds & gabepentin. I have had epidurals & nerve blocks without success. Does anyone else have Similar problems? I am at my wits end! I don't know where to go from here. My Dr. Is recommending a third surgery, rods & screws, but admits there is no garentee. Please Help! BTW, YES I also still have lower back pain!
