Many times we see new threads asking various medical questions:
- What does this MRI mean
- What is the best dosage of Oxycodone
- Can I take Medication A and B together
- My arm hurts
- My Incision site keeps opening up and oozing
- Whats better Oxycodone or ABC
- I have a temperature at night, what does that mean
- My foot hurts 6 months after surgery, anyone have that
Now, these are very valid questions. I know when you first join a medical site, you are hoping to get answers to all of your questions. We wish we could provide this.
But !00% of the members at Spine-Health, including all the moderators are NOT medical professionals. Medical professionals are NOT permitted to register at Spine-Health and
post as such.
We have nurses, EMTs, etc, but they are posting as patients and not providing any medical advice.
Because of this, we can not answer questions like those above. Those need to be addressed directly with your doctor(s). They are the only ones qualified to answer them.
Here on Spine-Health at the main menu, there are many detailed medical articles that can provide some of those answers. But that is not part of the forum boards, that is part
of the Spine-Health site. Spine-Health has been setup to provide a wealth of medical articles , journals and videos to help patients better understand their situations. This also includes
the Wellness section which has sections about mattresses, workstations, pillows and much more. Just look through any of the main tabs.
As a free offering , the owners of Veritas LLC (parent company of Spine-Health), these pain forums for members were created.
So the next time you have a question, think about who is here to really answer it. Remember, everything you read here is based on personal experiences and members own
research and does NOT mean it is medical fact.
