C5/6 c6/7 discotomy and fusion lump in throat prior and after surgery

I've had a lump in the throat feeling about three weeks prior to surgery and three months post op. Went to ent and had sonogram of neck and thyroid, ct scan, barium swallow, the thing where they stick a camera up your nose and to the back of your throat and an endoscopy all with no answers. Been on anti reflux drugs, no help. It all looks normal although with sinus disease. The lump is driving me crazy. I am searching for an answer. I've heard that a nerve can trigger the lump in the throat feeling from the swelling at the end of the cervical vertebrae but have not been offered a solution. If you have one, please help.
