It's been 2 1/2 weeks and I continue to be more active each day post MD of my L5S1. My calves, legs, and butt were tight today like they were a few months post surgery, but I think it's because I've been more active lately and walking 2x a day sometimes. Today I started using my foam roll again for those areas that are sore, but obviously staying away from the incision area, whichis only about 1inch. The good news is that after 2 weeks, my steristreps have all fallen off and the incision area is super clean. I read some other posts about tips. What'd I say is keep walking as much as you can and ice often! Also I saw a few questions about couples and when they can be "active" again. I've been active about 4 days after my procedure and just like my walks you have to slowly progress yourself into the situation. Take your time and continue focusing on the fundamentals. No bending, twisting, lifting anything heavy and in my case keep icing, walking, and slowly introduce more and more but always follow your docs orders
All the Best!
