I had a bad fall about 14 years ago and cracked my disk between l4 l5 and started losing feeling in my left leg. I had a hemilaminectomy and regained the use of my leg and can walk, run, etc, but over the past few years, I've noticed the back down there is stiffer and I get sciatica at times too, shooting into the left leg. Should I be concerned about anything or is thus the result of normal bone fusing since I font have any spongey stuff anymore between the disks?
