Si joint pain, leg pain

My son is now 23, he was diagnosed with chondro sarcoma @ 20 . He had an internal hemi pelvectomy and is still in pain. He is depressed, lonely , feels isolated from his peers and we are right there with him . He doesn't appear to qualify for stabilization of si joint with pins as he has lost too much bone. The steroid shots ... Only 1 out of 3 worked this year. He is exhausted and sliding. The ablation seems to be the next step but we have heard so many mixed reviews.?. There is also the question of psychogenic pain in the back of our minds and would like to take him somewhere he will be treated on all levels.? Any ideas?
