hey all.. can anyone share their opinions, or experiences with spinal cord simulators? I've done the whole back surgery thing, injections,pt, pain meds, massage therapy, etc..I am scheduled for ablation, to help with the leg and back pain, caused from failed back surgery syndrome,si joint dysfunction, stenosis,DDD, and sciatica..after that I was offered to have the scs implanted.I'm remaining hopeful, but some personal experiences would certainly be helpful..I am not expecting a miracle, but would love to at least gain back some of active lifestyle I once had without being debilitated afterwards. I am anxiously awaiting the day that I can manage my pain better..

  • I just had my trial implanted and so far I can say only one thing.....it is magic.

Shoot me some more specific questions and I will answer the best I can.
  • I'm glad that you are having improvements from your procedure.. Did it take long to recover from the implant, and how long did it take to notice the changes? I've had back surgery, and so many injections, the problem is identifying the pprimary pain contributors.I have si joint/facet joint dysfunction, along with the stenosis,& ddd, and significant scar tissue that is pressing on some nerves.. I'm also curious if it will help with not only the nueropathy, but the actual back pain itself, and the pain located on my left side around the si/ facet joints.. thanks for the insight.. glad to hear it's helping you
