Hello from Houston

I am 61, have 3 daughters and 5 grand daughters. My hobbies are genealogy, digital photography and digital scrapbooking. My purpose in joining is due to a permanently bruised lower lumbar four from an accident in 1979. Looking to see if anyone else has this issue and what they are doing or have done for relief.

Hi from lake charles, LA. I am in houston often for doctors. I have not had the bruised lumbar though. Do they feel bruised to touch, over the vertabrea?
Do your due dilegence, trust you know your body and question everything if it does not fit. Advocate for yourself and you will be suprised what will be revealed trusting your body and instinct.

Hi Sherryh from Houston. I don't know why you would have a permanent bruise. Have your dr's explained or have any idea why the bruise?? I have, what I'm sure is, a temporary bruise from a massage that got a bit too rough but never one that has been permanent. Have you tried ice, just a thought? I'm just clueless as to why it would be permanent.

Oh, Northern Kentucky here.....but I do miss Texas, does that count? ;-) Take care Sherry & welcome to SH.
