to provide medical advice or to diagnose problems.
You will hear Liz and myself say that over and over. We are not trying to be mean, to avoid an issue or to turn anyone away.
The patients forums of Spine-Health are comprised of members, none who are medical professionals. Medical professionals are NOT allowed to become members. They can register with the site
as professionals, but they may not post that way. This is one of the reasons, the Dr, DR, MD, , etc titles are not permitted.
What we do have is many people with tons of experience in dealing with spinal related issues. To some, their actual experiences may make more sense than what some doctor is telling them.
BUT, please when we tell you that no one here can provide you with formal medical answers, understand why we cant.
Years ago, someone tried doing this and the member accepted what the other member said as formal advice. They acted on that advice and wound up in a very serious situation.
That is something that always needs to be avoided.
Now, on the other hand, the formal part of Spine-Health, the main tabs, have articles and videos prepared by doctors. That is where you can get formal answers. Its not a one on one discussion, but
the resources that are available here in total, far exceed many other sites.
