Hi all. Im new to the site and im wondering if there are other people out there with my situation. First off, im Canadian but in the USA and not yet have any health insurance so i dont know how expensive dealing with this may be.
I woke up this morning with a crippling lower back pain. It absolutely kills to support my whole body while leaning slightly forward at all. The tasks that made it hurt the most were leaning over while standing up to change my pants/panties, leaning over while brushing my teeth to rinse my mouth (i.e. not holding on to anything while standing up and leaning over was almost undoable), and my body flinging forward when i sneeze! The first time it hurt like this id say is about two months ago for a day or two in november. Yesterday i began feeling it again but not as bad as i am describing now.
I am extremely upset. I feel like this is what elderly people experience and need to use walkers for. Im too young for this! I dont know what caused this in me at all.
i do suffer from a very stiff lower back on a regular basis, but it is not painful. I have been trying to stretch out and rotate my body in various ways the past year. My back does often crackle when i stretch and rotate which is disgusting as well.
Some background info:
-after reading some articles, i think i can describe my situation as axial, as the pain is only in my back
-the first time it happened, it felt better after one day
-the first onset wasnt from an accident. However, perhaps it was from stress because during the couple days before it began hurting, i had to set up/put away a fouton i was sleeping in
-the second onset (current) wasnt caused by any accident nor physical stress
-i didnt see a doctor last time, and unless this pain persists for a long time, i would rather avoid seeing one simply because i dont have that kind of money
-i am not on any medication, only benedryl some nights for hives
-seemingly unrelated issue, but my knees also crackle and experience painless friction when bent . Based on my shallow knowledge of the human body, i do not have enough lubricating fluids between some joints. Dont know if this case is also possible for my spine.
