I'm 25 and I have been experience lower back pain and numb hips since I was about 5 years old. My hips are numb to the touch. If there is pressure on my hips I will have the stinging feeling like you get when your foot is trying to wake up after falling asleep. My back will get knots along my spine about halfway up my back with exercise. I get pain that shoots down my butt and legs. always worse on my right side. Due to the numbness I have a weak core. I can not fell if i'm tightening my core when exercising. Every now and then Ill get the massive pain in my lower back/hips drumming exercise. Then after I will barely be able to move or bend. This last time it happen I was just walking on the treadmill. Time before that was doing back extensions. When the flareup happens it feels like the bottom of my spine has tons of pressure on it. This time its the end but more to the right just above my tailbone. I try to stay active but the pain really gets in the way. I have had a reflex test done and my right knee did not respond and the left only a little. I have been in physical therapy and been to the chiropractor neither have helped. I had one mri done. No dye or anything. They said it came back okay. The only abnormal blood work is my RBC is high and my C-reactive protein is a 9.7 in liters showing there is an infection somewhere. I have been told my upper spine is curved outward (not sclerosis) It sticks out and narrows inwards towards the bottom. None of the doctors want to do anything. I am now awaiting to see a neurologist. The only thing I have been told is that I have sciatica. I know it can't be normal to have zero feeling from the middle back through the hips. I have very little sexual sensitivity due to the issue as well. Sitting makes my back worse. Trying to sit straight kills me. I have to lean forward like a caveman. Any advice or ideas?
