I'm new to any of this so I'm not sure what information will be the most important. I have chronic aching pains in my lower back following down my right leg. It feels similar to growing pains but 20 times worse. Sometimes I cannot get up as the pain gets too much, and often I need my mother to help pull me up. It's only been over the past 4 days. It started 4 days ago with general aching and now it's turning to unbearable pain. Earlier on the pain was almost gone, so I took advantage of it and was a little more active than I have been the past 4 days, but an hour after, the pain is even worse than beforehand.

I've never been to hospital in my life, I've never had a history of bad pain so this is a first and it's a little scary.

There is nobody on the forum medically qualified or permitted to advise on what could be causing this, but we would suggest you go to the doctor for a diagnosis.

  • You need to start with a visit to your family dr & go from there. Chronic pain is defined by pain that has been going on for at least 3 months. 4 days does not define chronic pain. Have you tried ice and heat?
