L4-L5 Herniated Disc- VFF Shoes

Hey everyone,

I've had a herniated disc in L4-L5 region of my back for a little over 2 years. I'm 21, hence a little hesitant to get surgery done, and trying to deal with everything the best way I can.

I've heard some people say that these VFF shoes (five-finger barefoot shoes), have helped people with herniated discs and similar situations. I was thinking about purchasing some, does anyone here have any experience with them? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for everything,
