Hi I am a new member here. I am a 29 active female. I was in a motorcycle accident and fractured my T11 and T12. To be honest I am just happy to be alive. Anyways, I am going on week 4 of recovery from my spinal fusion. They also, found scoliosis where I broke my back so they fixed that too. They said I was an interesting case because of the scoliosis and having fractured my T11 and T12.

I was back to work on week 3 and I did just fine. I have been doing stairs and walking hills. This is week 4 and I am going to start doing spin classes. My back doesn't have pain when I do these activities, but I do have some tightness where my incision is and my posture is not 100% Is this a typical recovery after a T10/L2 fusion?

For those who have had a similar fusion, how are you doing?

Thank you :)
