Hi all
Just want to say thanks as your posts and personsl stories have helped me so much during my process
I am just about 4 months out from surgery
I had laminectomies of l1,l2,l3 and a fusion of t12-l4
I am still experiencing foot drop but hope to see that recover even though surgeon says not to expect it since nerve was compressed for too long
As you know It's been a long road to recovery but
The left side of my back is perfect no pain nothing, it's great! The right side however is painful with a lot of muscle pulling type of pain radiating from the center of my spine down to my hip
I also am experiencing weakness that I didn't have before surgery where I cannot lift my leg to get into the car, I have to use my hands to pull my leg up by my pant leg
Has anyone elsw experienced anything similar ?
It would help me to know this is just a step on the road
Any advice comments would help I don't see the doc for 2 more weeks
