Hi, I have just happened onto this SH while looking for information about Spinal Cord stimulator therapy. I am in my late 20's and have been living with Chronic conditions my whole live. As a child had cancer that damaged my central nerves system and gave me nerve damage, abnormal gait pattern, shorten heel cords etc. The issue that has me looking for support and kindred spirits is hip pain which was diagnosed with OA osteoarthritis as well a Femoroacetabular impingement. I had surgery for the FAI but the deep throbbing pain has persisted as well as hot burning nerve pain. I am able to stay positive for my the most part but am tired of pushing through everything including stretches, strength training, cardio etc. Getting out of bed in the most mornings is physically challenging even have to use cell phone to literally call for help. Does anyone else have to do have someone help them to the bathroom on bad days or literally know how many steps it is to the kitchen, mailbox etc. I know what is like to be in so much pain you that it hurts just to breath.I have been reading in several different forums and amazed at the plethora of information here as well as support. I thank you all in advice for this site and for any help I may ask for.
