Hi my name is Brandy. I'm 40 yrs old. In February 2014 I was diagnosed with a very rare autoimmune disease called Behcets Disease. My world was turned upside down October 2013 when my symptoms started. I seen 9 different doctors in 15 days. I seen a Dr who checked me for reoccuring bilateral carpel tunnel syndrome. With test showing negative for that he recommended a MRI immediately. MRI was done at 5pm and by the next morning I received 3 voicemails from the nurse and one from my sister within 30 minutes. Nurse left messages to call back asap. I'm freaked a little but to make long story short I was seeing a Neurosurgeon later that afternoon. Two weeks later I had a C4-C5 fusion. Having that surgery in the middle of my autoimmune issues was not fun. It has been 11 months since the surgery and my neck, upper back and shoulder s are swollen and hurt very bad. I can feel my titanium plate in my neck. Has anyone experienced similar issue??

  • At night my nerves gets out of control and is extremely painful. It last for hours. It starts in my hands, goes up my arms into my shoulders and in my feet. Sometimes I am flopping in bed like a fish out of water. After it stops my body is so tired and it hurts all over. I had carpel tunnel on my right wrist. I have had neck surgery, left c 3 4, hemilaminectomy and micro foraminotomy .
Not sure of the words but my neck was cut and a hole drilled for my nerves to straighten out for they were tangled up. Since
my surgery they problem has got worse. Has any one had anything like this that has worked. I am not sure what else to do.
