Anxiety Meds For Pain??

Anyone use Xanex or Klonopin to help manage pain? I had a c5-c6 fusion and am worried about the anxiety meds inhibiting the bone growth process? This is all new to me and I don't want to do anything to mess it up and/or have to do this over again because it sucks! I have Percocet right now, but it's not great at helping me sleep and the anxiety meds have helped in the past.

Thanks!

  • My surgeon actually sends all his patients home on lorazepam, since you're more relaxed, and it helps you sleep. I would bet you could take it, but I would call and check with your doc.
