Hi :) Glad to find the forum.

I'm in my late 40's and suffering back pain for a few years. It has advanced to the point I am not able to stand for more than a couple minutes.

I also just had surgery with a bone graft for Avascular Necrosis to my arm. My health problems otherwise include Obstructive Sleep Apnea and high cholesterol. I am about 40 lbs overweight (working on that!), much of which I gained in the last couple years when my back pain just kept getting worse so my activity decreased. I have Major Depressive Disorder and incontinence issues as well. I didn't have any health insurance for a couple years, so I've just been "dealing".

As far as my back goes, I get pain with both rest and activity. My MRI showed issues and I'm seeing the orthopedic specialist later this month. We will see what happens. I am currently not working and very broke, something I'm sure many of you know about! I am hoping that the doctor will be able to help with the back, and my arm continues to heal.

I'm joining the forums to find others with the same sort of issues and how you deal with things. Glad to meet you all.

Welcome and nice to meet you, too.
Sounds like you've have quite a bit on your plate. I'm glad you are now with insurance so you hopefully get some relief and not just have to deal.

I've not before heard of the situation with your arm. I understand it somewhat..enough to know it quite an ordeal and my guess somewhat frightening. Thankfully you are healing nicely. Great news!

the forums are great for more personal..you're not alone feeling. And you are not alone! :)
