Hello, I'm new to the forum. I've had sciatica pain in my right leg for over a year now .I'm a very active 37-year-old male who has had to put his life on hold because I am battling this problem right now.
I've had three MRIs ,I've spoken to three orthopedic surgeons and I'm had two epidural spinal injections. Unfortunately the spinal injections did not help at all the MRIs showed that I had my lumbar discs were bad but they could not identify exactly where the nerve was being compromised, for this reason they say I'm not a candidate forsurgery.

I was recently introduced to a company in Los Angeles who does a different kind of image. According to their website they can take an exact 3-D image of the entire sciatica Spine.

I am my worst enemy here. I am very impatient with these issues. My life has changed drastically and I feel like I'm in a constant journey to find exactly what's wrong with me so I can get it fixed. So far I've had no luck with doctors images or spinal injections. The only thing that works is time, stretching and trying to push myself to stay active. That being said, I continue to have setbacks as I'm always walking the edge between reinjuring myself. I'm hoping somebody has heard of this and has had success identifying with this particular imaging.

Yes I have heard of it, very interesting when I read up on it. Years ago. Only certain places in my state offered it and I think insurance hard to approve sometimes, but the technology seemed very cool.
Do your due dilegence, trust you know your body and question everything if it does not fit. Advocate for yourself and you will be suprised what will be revealed trusting your body and instinct.

ThankS for the response. I found this place in Los Angeles .xxxx I am currently battling with kaiser to let me go outside of network to get it done. My orthopedic is speaking with chief of radiology so my fingers are crossed. Kaiser claims that an MRI with contrast and weighted T1/T2 imagining will giv e the Same result.
