I have a mild scoliosis in my spine and am interested in finding out information on what people think/have experienced regarding the use of an inversion table to treat this condition and slow down the various age related degeneration of the spine in general. I have no major pain issues at this time. I use a back support whenever I pick up or move anything big or heavy. A friend of mine who is a chiropractor told me that the most effective treatment using the inversion table is no more than 15 degrees. She said that more extreme angles than 15 degrees cause the spinal muscles to "snap back" into the old pattern which prevents improvement. What do you think?
