Been 3 months after 7 level fusion on my thoracic spine. Still fill a lump and numbness on each side of area of incision. If I lie down can feel it, hurts and don't seem normal. Called Doctor but the nurse said Im not to see him for another month. Has anyone else had that.

  • I wonder if these lumps are not the hard ware? I had surgery 4.5 weeks ago and if i run my hand over the surgical site i can feel "lumps" that I assume are the titanium rods and screws.......try not to worry too much and remember to mention this on your next appointment...that is what i would do (unless anything changes ie...worsening of any symptoms ect.... Good luck in healing, and feeling better very soon xo
