I have been on suboxone for over a year and am still amazed how it has given me my life back after suffering from chronic pain for 10 years! I have had 3 back surgeries including a fusion as well as having two broken bones in my back and having Fibro!
Ask your Dr. if this medicine can help you! It is truly a miracle.

  • That's nice. Celebrex works for me too and never tried other medication. It's good also to support it with some remedies and therapy like massage.

  • I have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (Hypermobility) and been on suboxone and Lyrica since January, but I am not find it helps with my deep muscle and joint aching, nor does not help with stiffness. I am glad you are having success with it!
What dose are you on? Do you take anything else for pain?
  • I am now on buprenorphine and am marginally managing my pain. I am not sure if it is due to an increase in my pain (I have a ruptured C2 and C3 now). I am truly tired of hurting and not having much take my pain levels down enough to make my life much better. I did far better when I was on the Butrans patch, however the skin reaction (chemical burns) prohibited me from continuing this option. I wish I could though as the pain relief using the patch was far greater than the sublingual. Buprenophine is not indicated for pain management but it is a very good pain reliever.
Try to keep smiling and doing but oh sooooo tired of intense pain battle---tired. I hurt and know it doesn't define me but it sure does change things.

Suboxone seems to be working for me...I have only taken 3 doses so far but am getting better pain control than i have had in a long time...the only drawbacks ive had so far is finding the product(my town has a lot of people who are on it), cost (because the ins companies dont want to pay big $ for something that is not an on label usage for pain mgt), taste is terrible, and the wd's from the opiate i was on before thus. My guiding light tho is still the fact that so far it is helping with the pain.
