I went to the doctors yesterday and I have been told that i may have a slipped disc but the doctor is unsure, so he is sending me for a MRI scan. As of right now, I don't know what I should do about exercising. I really wanted to lose weight for the summer, so I am a little frustrated that I may have a slipped disc.
I have still been going to the gym, but I've only been focusing on low impact exercise such as stationary bike, cross trainer, brisk walking etc. I am not feeling significant pain after I've been to the gym, but obviously I want to go on to the hardcore training like running, lifting weights etc.
Has anyone suffered from a slipped disc and did it affect your exercise regime severely? I am really hoping I won't need surgery so I can at least walk briskly and use other forms of low impact cardiovascular equipment.
