I have 2 rods, screws, and cage from fusion in July 2014. I have done very well. I have been able to do things I have not done for a very long time. I have been very happy with my surgery. The last 3-4 weeks I have had, what feels like needles sticking me from one side to the other. It now had progressed to feeling like an ice pick or nail sticking me. One day it might be on the right side, the next it may be on the left. I have pain with this and I'm beginning to have to slow down on things I have been doing. My 1 year follow up in June 2015. Does anyone else have this problem? I don't know if I need to call and go in to be checked out or wait for my appointment in June. When I put my brace back on, it seems to relieve the pain and sticking feeling.
