Hello, I'm 14 years old, and suffer from lower back pain, in the right side of my back. I've tried chiropractic, and physio. But after a while the pain just comes back. I have been picked to represent my county at a football tournament in May in Germany. I want the pain to go by then so I don't have to worry about it. Obviously I play football regularly and it's getting me rather depressed that I cannot play football to my full potential. I need help fixing me. Can anyone shed a little light? I've had the problem for about 6-7 months. I just want it to go.

  • That would be a good start! Unfortunately, if you have a legitimate spine situation on your hands, there isn't a quick fix. Perhaps you strained something playing football and simply need a break? If you keep aggravating it, it will never heal. Rest is the best medicine for any injury.

I'm assuming you have seen your Doctor? Did u already get an Xray? If you have a football game coming up in May, I would highly suggest that you rest. Stop playing football for a while! Lets hope it isn't a spine situation and only a mere muscle strain/pull of some sort.

    Take care,
