Hi all,
Just to give u all a brief history I've had a 360° spinal fusion on L5 approx 4 years ago although my mobility and pain have greatly improved I still suffer with pain and pins and needles. The prognosis is that at sometime in the near future I will need to have L4 done too. Within the last two weeks I has radiofrequency injections (along with steroids) to quaterise the nervous in the hope to reduce my pain. This hasn't happened and I'm currently in a lot more pain then prior to the injection. I wanted to know if anyone else had experienced this and if so if they could recommend anything to reduce my pain, many thanks from a fellow sufferer

Although I have no experience with your conditions nor the injections..... I just want to encourage you to tell your doctor everything of how you are feeling. And also the results of you treatments....effective or not...and that as you mentioned..the pain is even worse.

If you find anything that brings you any kind of comfort..like certain position ...that may be helpful to doctor. He is definitely best to help you control your pain.

Please keep in touch and let us know how you are doing and how doctor advised pain control.
