Trail with Medtronic for Nerve pain in back and chest

in 2011 I had half my left lung removed due to MRSA. I had 3 chest tubes, and have a large scar on my left back which left me with a lot of pain. Since than, I have had a lot of trouble doing every day things, cleaning, going to the gym, things I enjoy like hiking, etc. I did nerve blocks, meds and everything else the insurance would cover. This was the next step. I had the trail put in on Wed, a decent amount of post op pain. I could cry with how well this is working. If I sat, laid, or stand for more than 30 mins before I had terrible pain in my back or side where the scars are. Now I am pretty much pain free. I am stubborn with the pain meds, so I havent taken too many although it hurts more than I thought it would. I am trying to do as much as I can to live as normal of a life. I have felt a little bit of my chronic pain, but it subsides after a minute or so. Its very hard to lay down, which I assume is normal. I cannot wait to have the permanent one. I wish I had this done years ago. Went with medtronic because it is MRI safe and I am young and you never know. This is the longest I have been pain free and I dont know what to do. It scares me to know when they take the trail out I will have the pain and if insurance would decide to not cover it.
