But I seem to have crossed some sort of line in my recovery this weekend. Today is 4 weeks from discectomy L5-S1. I have been having sciatic pain since surgery worse than it was before. Was getting quite frustrated. Then Saturday morning, I woke up expecting to be in a lot of pain since I did a lot on the 4th. Lo and behold I didn't even feel the need for a Darvocet... and didn't take more than one between getting up and bedtime. Same yesterday... I felt energetic in fact. Still can't bend or twist without saying OWIE! But, I'm beginning to see a small amount of light at the end of this tunnel! :D
