Post 1.5 years post ACDF surgery, is sit-up allowed ?

Hi all,

Wondering if sit-up is allowed for ACDF patient ? I need to do this as my tummy and my weight raising a lot since I didn't do any exercise in the past months. I was worry it might cause trouble to the fusion bone. Does anyone have insight and experience about this ?

One more thing, I felt something strange in my feet after Im doing my exercise, is that because of the nerves is regenerating or something wrong again with it ? Right now I quit from my exercise and decised to do a little and slow stretching exercise at home.
Is that mean I cannot go back to my exercise routine forever ?

My upcoming check up with my orto surgeon will be on next October 2015, surely I will ask him about it. I just want to hear any input from my friend here.
