I am a 32 y/o male. I have never had any back problems before and I didn't know how lucky I was! 9 days ago I injured my back doing dead-lifts in the gym. Went to the ER because immediately I couldn't walk out of the gym. It was so painful I knew something bad had been done.
If anyone can help me out with some questions I have I would really appreciate it!!!
How am I supposed to stay comfortable? I cannot stand up straight yet and it hurts to walk so I am sitting down all the time. Is this ok? It's all that I can do but I've read it's not good to sit all the time.. How do I stay comfortable and how should I sit and sleep?
Also, how long until I can except to at least be able to walk again, standing up straight without horrible pains?
Any advice anyone has is greatly appreciated. I can't get into a doctor until next week and I'm so frustrated and down.
