Should i be concerned with a report like this- significant findings at the L4/5 margin is broad based annular bulging indenting the thecal sac. Mild central canal stenosis and neural foraminal narrowing. The degree of impingement is observed involving the right pre emerging L5 nerve roots.
FYI- I had a microdesectomy in Jan 2014 (L5 S1) went tho rehab for a solid 10months, had xmas & half of Jan of rehab or attending appointments physio pilates etc & did home based stuff instead. Started getting lower back pain after this which has slowly gotten worse & worse. Just got this MRI result & catch up with my nerosurgen late next week for discussion, Am currently taking nedep 10mg. Im 29years old.
Any advice or opinions would be much appreciated, If someone can explain what the above means & what treatment plan to expect that would be great! Thanks in advance*****************
There is nobody on the forum qualified or permitted to interpret or advise on an MRI this is something you need to discuss with your doctorhttp://www.spine-health.com/forum/announcements/spine-health-announcements/mri-reports-why-we-cant-advise
