Can anyone that knows how to interpret MRI report tell me what is this report about.(just need to roughly know what is going on)
A rudimentary S1-2 disk is noted.
The alignment of the lumbar spine is preserved.
No suspicious marrow signal change is seen.
There is desiccation,reduced height and small posterocentral protrusion of the L5-S1 disk.Mild indentation of the ventral surface of the thecal sac is seen.No recess/foramen narrowing is seen.
The cord ends at L1.The conus is normal.
The pre and paravertebral soft tissues are normal.
Conclusion: disk degeneration and a small central protrusion of the L5-S1 disk as detailed.
