Surgery Shceduled for the 29th of this month!! :)

Can't wait!! Got the call today that my SCS permanent implant is going in on the 29th of this month! After a great trial, I was SO sad to give it back!!! Can't wait for the real one now; admittedly, not so excited about those first few weeks post-surgery, but ready to soldier on through those to get some pain relief! :D

  • Thank you Savage! I'm really looking forward to this; the trial was great, and I'm anticipating the permanent being as good or better. :)

Okay, so STILL excited, but the nerves are kicking in!! :)
  • How did everything go? I got my permanent placed this past Friday (the 5th) and I'm having a hard time recovering. I spent two nights in the hospital and am only home because I begged them and told them I would have round the clock care. I haven't even messed with the stim yet, spending all my time trying to get rid of the pain. When the rep came in to do the programming he wasn't able to because I had fluid build up and the stimulation was all over the place, so I'll see him early next week. I hope you're doing good!
